August 4–10, 2025 – Lublin
Once again, Lublin will become a meeting place for Jewish culture, music, cuisine, history, and spirituality. For seven days this August, we warmly invite residents and visitors to the 6th edition of the Lubliner Festival – an event that connects generations and brings memory to life.
Highlights of the program:
Guided tours following the traces of Jewish heritage in Lublin and Kazimierz Dolny
Encounters with history – cemeteries, Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin, Majdanek
Family workshops and creative meetings: mezuzahs, food, amulets, art, and dance
Reflective sociological workshops with photographs and storytelling
Concerts featuring Frank London, klezmer musicians from Sejny, and stars of the Polish music scene
Open-air cinema at Perła Brewery, in partnership with the Warsaw Jewish Film Festival
Jewish culinary culture – shared cooking and tasting events
Shabbat gathering with tradition and music
This festival is built on people, memory, and shared presence – come and take part!

This year’s edition brings unforgettable musical evenings with renowned Polish and international artists. Expect klezmer energy, Hasidic spirituality, jazz improvisations, and timeless melodies that shaped 20th-century music history.
August 6, Wednesday
Jewish Trans Oriental
8:00 PM | Centrum Kultury, Wirydarz
A mystical journey through the sounds of the Middle East and Sephardic traditions.
Performers: Hanka Rybka (vocals), Anna Wandtke (violin), Jeno Lisztes (cimbalom), Paweł Zaganczyk (accordion), Arad Emamgholi (daf), and Sebastian Wypych (double bass, electronics). Together, they weave a vibrant mosaic of Sephardic songs and modern improvisations.
August 7, Thursday
LUBLIN HOUSE PARTY

Lipka & Kompany invite you to a musical dance feast – beloved hits by Polish-Jewish composers in fresh, contemporary arrangements.
Robert Lipka and his band revive prewar tangos, foxtrots, and waltzes, performed with energy and joy on accordion, tuba, trumpet, clarinet, banjola, and percussion.
A nostalgic, fun-filled evening – a true dance party with soul!
August 8, Friday
6:30 PM | Hotel Ilan (85 Lubartowska St.)
Shabbat – Welcoming the Holy Day Together
Join us for a special open Shabbat gathering in a historic setting – the former Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin, now Hotel Ilan.
The evening begins with traditional Shabbat songs – simple and touching melodies that have filled Jewish homes on Friday evenings for generations.
Followed by a prayer service in the synagogue and a festive Shabbat dinner with symbolic dishes and blessings.
This will be a moment of reflection and community – open to all, regardless of background or faith.
The evening will be conducted with respect for tradition, but in an inclusive and welcoming spirit.

August 9, Saturday – CONCERT IN SASKI GARDEN
Klezmer Valentine’s – Tu B’Av Under the Stars

Michael Alpert (UK) – master of Jewish vocal and dance traditions
The Klezmer Orchestra of the Sejny Theater – a phenomenal youth-led project bridging generations through music
A night full of klezmer passion, joy, and dance!
The concert takes place on Tu B’Av, the Jewish festival of love – a day for celebrating affection, community, and connection. This joyful occasion blends ancient tradition with modern festivity, and our concert will do just the same – with energy, heart, and soul.
August 10, Sunday – CONCERT IN SASKI GARDEN
Gershwin – The Jewish Soul of America
8:00 PM | Romuald Lipko Bandstand, Saski Garden
The Pendofski Jazz Ensemble joins Frank London in a musical journey from the shtetl to Broadway.
Featuring jazz-infused renditions of George Gershwin’s greatest hits.
